Concert Admission Policy
Community MusicWorks is committed to providing the greatest possible access to live music. While some Providence String Quartet and Community MusicWorks Players concerts are free events, others may have a suggested donation or ticket cost associated with them. We hope that the price of admission will not prevent you from attending a concert. Please contact Community MusicWorks for more information.
A Century of American String Quartets
Throughout CMW's 14th season, the Providence String Quartet will be exploring string quartets written by American composers between 1896 and 1994. The season-long survey will feature music by Charles Ives (October), Samuel Barber (December), Steve Reich (February), and Osvaldo Golijov (May). This project is made possible by an American Masterpieces grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
